CONCERT NEXT WEEK FOR TUESDAY 3
I forgot that the concert coincides with the return of Barca - Madrid, so it is for non-football lovers or lovers, like me, prefer not see it.
A good opportunity for those who simply have not ever been to a concert or not the auditorium .. etc.Desde may know then for those who like the music. On the other hand, the works are attractive and Beethoven's Eroica Symphony (any relation to the football is no coincidence) is a work known and very beautiful. Beethoven originally wrote as a tribute to his contemporary Napoleon whom he considered continuation of the French Revolution and, therefore, a spokeswoman for the ideas of freedom. During the gestation of the work, radically changed his mind about Napoleon because he was already dedicated to conquer peoples and territories destroying everything in its path. It preserves the site of the original score by Beethoven literally torn by what he considered a betrayal of those ideals.
Once the show was "an unsung hero" from which the nickname of the work.
Together with three friends, spent two days and nights queuing at the Royal Theatre to get tickets for the concert of the Berlin Philharmonic that under the direction of Herbert von Karajan, performed this work on 6 June 1975. Yesterday. JMS
